Over the weekend of the 9th & 10th of October 2010, Madmonkeyz sent representatives to take part in the Bangkok Open 2010 Master of The Rock Internation Rock Climbing Competition.

Held at The Rock@49, Racquet Club : Sukhumvit 49, Bangkok, the competition brought together climbers with great skill and experience to compete against each other. Categories held were Under 15 (Men/Women) and Open (Men/Women) for both Lead Climbing & Bouldering.

The Madmonkeyz team was thrilled to be the official routesetter for this competition.

To our delight, Muhd Mizi Jaafar participated in the Men’s Open Bouldering Category and won 2nd place amonth 21 others. We’re really proud of him to have been on the podium, representing Malaysia among several others. So everyone, give him a round of applause!

Hopefully, we will develop more professional climbers to take part in more international competitions in the future.
