Sorry about being a bit slow on the blog to you all… Nonetheless, here is this week’s TBL 6th preview from the match!
Just tiniest bits of the team member’s review that will help refresh your memory before the match reach to the max.
As usual, the registration start on 6pm and participants must wear their bib number before the climbers proceed to the isolation room on 7pm. The route setter from both team starts to set the route. Both teams involved in the coin toss to determine which will be Team A or Team B. As the result, Team A is Old Man; Team B is Advanced.

Route A1 – Team A – Old Man (as HT)
Khairul, Advanced, vs. Soya, Old Man, 0 and 2
Route B1 – Team B – Advanced (as HT)
Canness, Old Man, vs. Paan, Advanced, 0 and 2
Route A2 – Team A – Old Man (as HT)
Azril, Advanced, vs. Canness, Old Man, it end in a draw, 1 bonus point for a draw for Team B (AT), 2 and 1
Route B2 – Team B – Advanced (as HT)
Soya, Old Man, vs. Paan, Advanced, it end in a draw, 1 bonus point for a draw for Team A (AT), 2 and 1
Both teams take their own advantages on each route, an even chance of winning at the moment. These make the matches even fun.
Route A3 – Team A – Old Man (as HT)
Khairul, Advanced, vs. Nicholas Cheng, Old Man, 0 and 0, both failed
Both Teams’ Manager chooses back their player Khairul & Nicholas Cheng to have their 2nd attempt for the route.
2nd attempt
Khairul, Advanced, vs. Nicholas Cheng, Old Man, 0 and 0. Both team failed to complete the route again.
They continue to challenge the BR set by Mr.Fai– route setter from Team A.
Team A’s Manager choose back Nicholas Cheng to try his best to challenge the route again, while Team B’s Manager try to change the player and chooses Paan for their last attempt.
3rd attempt

It end in a draw, 1 bonus point for a draw for Team B (AT), 2 and 1
It seems they still had a game with last route. Will Team A have the chance to pull back their scores, in order to be assured of qualification for the semi finals?
Route B3 – Team B – Advanced (as HT)
Soya, Old Man, def. Azril, Advanced, 4 and 0
They defeated Advanced 10-7 in that night’s critical match-up and setup a semi-final with Night Crawler! Yet, another 2 bonus point was given to Team A – Old Man, as the penalty for Team B – Advanced who breaks the game rules.
‘I have to say, I am not entirely disappointed with the result, the Old Man team deserve their place to step it up and go into the semi-finals. And as for our team, well, at least we tried our best to give our best shot.” said by Azril, Team B’s experience climber.
