Tell us about a goal you’ve set for yourself and successfully achieved.
My greatest accomplishment up till now was completing college with a degree and I believe the best is yet to come.
What do you enjoy the most about being a marshal?
Here, I have the chance to learn more about various climbing skills and techniques from other experienced climbers. Through climbing, I have made new friends. Besides that I can improve my communication skills as well.

Tell us about a goal you’ve set for yourself and successfully achieved.
I want to be the best instructor. During the physical fitness test, I had successfully completed it even though it took me one minute more than the time limit required. I pushed on with sheer willpower and the determination of becoming an instructor, Alas, I’m here and now on the way of gaining a new title – Arkose.
What do you enjoy the most about being a instructor?
For me, the most enjoyable moment was when a student successfully completed a course with the moves and techniques I’ve teaches them. It was like the time and effort that you’ve invested finally culminated to a moment, beauty and value unparallel.
Through climbing, I get to know more people, make new friends and one of the unexpected things was I found a confidant here. I have I have the chance to learn more about climbing skills and techniques from other seasoned veterans. To speak the truth, I think MadMonkeyz is the best place to work as it brings me a whole lot of memories, and that, means a lot to me. Hey, what more can you ask for a job that is your hobby?
What is MadCrewz?
Madcrew is a team of people who responsible to ensure that the overall operation of the gym will run smoothly and create a successful shift in MadMonkeyz.
The organization hierarchy of Madcrew is categorized into two major parts, which are the marshal and instructors.
Marshal are further subdivided into Gosson (Junior Marshal) and Marble (Senior Marshal) rank, while instructor are further subdivided into Flint (Junior Instructor), Arkose (Instructor) and Hornfer (Senior Instructor).
