Have you ever felt an eager rush, just wanting for time to pass, to place yourself somewhere amazing? Well, I had, and it all started when I first step foot in Madmonkeyz. Not even knowing what was I thinking at that moment, I took my courage and went with my instinct. Ever since then I have been all nuts about climbing. The experience you’ll get in Madmonkeyz is so much different from climbing elsewhere because in Madmonkeyz not only you get to climb and have a great workout but you will also get to meet great people with same interest and hang out. Madmonkeyz has indeed given me the best experience in climbing.
What started out as just another bulletpoint on my list of “things to do” during the holidays has now become a weekely activity to me.
Rock Climbing has always drawn scepticism from my part as I had always viewed it as expensive and dangerous sport. MadMonkeyz proved otherwise, offering a cozy yet fully equipped Climbing Gym where I am exposed to this exhilarating sport.
Unlike many other sports, climbing enables you to obtain a full body workout. Having not been a fan of monotony, climbing provides me with the challenge I need to keep pushing myself forward.
The terrain at MadMonkeyz is sufficiently varied, equipment and climbing walls are truly first-class. In addition to that, the staff here are extremely friendly and would not hesitate to assist a newbie like me whenever I find a route too difficult to handle. The experience here has definitely been nothing short of amazing.

MadMonkeyz has changed my flabby tummy to abs. And not only that, MadMonkeyz has also packed my activity schedule and brought me lots of knowledge about climbing and the great outdoors. On top of that, I have made many good friends here. One word to describe MadMonkeyz, AWESOME!
Every so often in life, we find an activity we really enjoy. But as with all things, it takes a little bit of luck to be able to continuously enjoy it. I’ve loved climbing since before I found Madmonkeyz but there was always something holding me back…. Cost…. Time….. People…. Accessibility. This is where Madmonkeyz stands out for me. It is simply the best environment you can find to fully enjoy the sport of climbing. Since it is a bouldering gym, it was easy for me to just pick up a pair of shoes and start climbing. From this beginning it led on to top rope and lead climbing both indoors and outdoors. But at the end of the day, Madmonkeyz is still ‘home ground’. To me, it is a very comfortable place where I can take my time to hone my skills and so far, everyone climbing there has been more than happy to teach and give advice on training and techniques. And of course, I would be happy to offer help to anyone who wishes to try it out. So I’ll see you at Madmonkeyz!
It was time for me to attend a proper climbing class after about a year of bouldering. For those who come often but have a hard time completing an intermediate route, I would highly recommend you to MOVEMENT CLASS.
Before I went through this class, I was climbing with what seems to me the simplest way possible.
After the MOVEMENT CLASS, I was exposed to more complicated climbing styles which not only look better but also saves energy and strength.
The instructors in the class are also very caring and patient, teaching us step by step and explaining very clearly. The class is also an affordable price.
